For Alece's 17th birthday we went to the movie, Meet the Mormons. Then we ate at Olive Garden with her Grandma Dixie and Grandad. I think she had a lovely day.

Having an awesome weekend at Ryan and Alyse's listening to conference, shopping, and going to see Jim Gaffigan. So much fun! Alece babysat Spencer, Katie, Lyndsey, and Anna. She is such a great help to so many. She made dinner and cookies. Trev, Adam and I, Grandma Dixie, Grandad, Ryan, Alyse, and Cameron went to the show. So fun and funny!

Anna and her two friends Katelyn Lords and Sierra Michaelson rode their bikes to school quite a few times this year but a couple of weeks ago on their way Katelyn and Sierra got hit by a truck. Anna was behind them and watched her friends get hit. Ambulances, plicemen, and firetruck came and we heard many, loud sirens. I was getting ready for school when Alece came up and asked me if I was worried about Anna. I asked if I should be and decided to drive to the sirens. As I pulled up I saw Anna's bike, that was such a panicky, scared moment but as soon as I got to the scene neighbors assured me that the girls were ok. Sierra went to the hospital to get x-rays and to get checked and Katelyn went to the doctor because when she got hit she fell hard on her knee and jaw. They are both miraculously ok and Anna I think has recovered from a traumatic experience. I just held her for a long time that day and am so thankful that my prayers were answered of safety and watchful care.

Helping Grandma Dixie and Grandad do yard work for FHE. Alece didn't feel very good, I think she had a pulled a muscle.
