Easter 2015

We had a nice Easter, conference, and spring break weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Adams made a picnic for everyone on Saturday in between sessions. Yummy barbecue sandwiches, potato salad, chips, cookies,and an Easter egg hunt. Then we ran some races. Brent won and he was so funny afterward, he took Jul and dipped her and they kissed. It was so cute. Anna got a fever and has been sick for a few days. Also on Sunday Alece made us dinner. She made hamburgers. They were scrumptious! Oh and Anna dressed up like a darling easter bunny for school. She's cute!

Time Out for Women

My mom got us girls tickets to Time Out for Women for our birthdays this year. We went to watch John By the way and an awesome music group on Friday night then went to dinner and slept in a hotel. Then Saturday there were amazing talks an a concert pianist performed. It was amazing. What a wonderful gift. I felt so uplifted and rejuvenated. I wish we got more pictures.

Distinguished Young Women 2015

Alece participated in the Distinguished Young Women. It is a pageant that junior's in high school can participate in. She learned how to be good in interviews, she danced for her talent and it was flawless, she learned poise and how to present herself. She is so beautiful inside and out. Grandparents Adams, grandparents Burt, Julia, Joy, Jenni, Hope, Ben Clements, and Victoria Richard came to watch her. Adam, Anna, and I were there too. Trev was in California for work and was sad he missed it. Alece worked so hard and she was so committed. She woke up early every Tuesday and Thursday to be to practice by 6:00. She went to practices on Saturday and worked at different workshops and things. She practiced her solo and also is on a dance competition team. She also has a job but her boss let her take some time off. She made lots of good friends and I am a proud mother!

I have the best life! Trev and I have been in Cancun, Mexico for a week. His work paid for us to both go, they have a yearly vacation to meet with their top dealers and vendors to train and mingle. We stayed at an amazing resort, all inclusive, beach and pool. It was high 70s and low 80s weather. Some of the days were too windy and a little chilly, but when the sun came out I was warm and so happy! Swimming in the ocean makes me happy too along with swimming in the pool. We went one of the days and toured some ancient ruins. That was amazing, it makes you think about past people and how they lived and what they were like. Some was quite interesting, but learning about the worshipping of idols and human sacrifice was yucky.
